I’m an El-Paso-born native Texan. Later Dad moved the family to San Antonio where I graduated from Sam Houston High. I have an undergraduate degree from Park College and a graduate degree from West Texas A&M, Canyon.
My lifelong partner of 46 years is Terre and we have 3 amazing children and 5 grandchildren. She was the perfect coach’s wife, traveling thousands of miles to watch her kids compete in athletics as I spent numerous hours teaching and coaching.
